Prescription for the District
While serving as Chapter President of the DC Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (DCAAP), I led The Prescription for the District (#Rx4DC), the culmination of a year-long advocacy initiative by chapter members, in collaboration with community partners, to develop a strength based, preventive approach to addressing violence in communities.
#Rx4DC has blossomed into a movement that advocates for universal strategies to address community stressors so everyone can benefit and the community can thrive.
